September 2009

As Fall-Winter season is on the way, we begin to search for the latest fashion trends in designer collections. Designer dresses, fashion accessories, and fashion jewerly to refresh our wardrobe for the upcoming season.

                         Thoughts on Fashion Jewellery

Fashion Jewellery is the perfect thing for livening up an outfit or refreshing a tired wardrobe. In these cash strapped times,
it`s not always possible to splash out on new clothes for every season, but it is possible to find some funky and fun fashion
jewellery
to provide a fresh new twist on favoured classics. There are a huge range of looks available - bright colours teemed with
neutrals and
soft golds and silvers are very hot this season.

There`s some great looks for Summer 2009 - bright and chunky beads and plastic jewellery is still on trend, with strong
references to the 80s and looking fantastic with summer brights and beachwear. Natural materials such as wood and stones are
also ever popular and look really chic and fresh with cool linens and denim. Look for ethnic finishes for unusual finishes and to
accessorise the fringed, ethnic and tribal prints that are in the shops at the moment.

When buying fashion jewellery, think about how you`ll be wearing it and with which clothes. Don`t automatically plump for silver and gold
shades, especially if they are plated as hot weather can cause your skin to react to nickel. Think about fun and funky fresh items - oversized
beads, items with fringing, ethnic necklaces and fun earrings are all great for this time of year. Bright crystals and sparkly finishes are
great for nightwear - but will look over the top on the beach or teemed with casual daywear. Try natural stones, wooden bangles, plastic chunky
cocktail rings and unusual ethnic jewellery for daytime looks which are fashionable and individual. The great thing about fashion jewellery
of course is that it`s a cost effective way of expressing personality and bringing a personal touch to your outfit. On a practical note too,
avoid buying fashion rings or other items that are too small - when the heat kicks in your fingers may thank you for a slightly larger size!

To care for your fashion jewellery, keep it free from things like fake tan and sea water which can corrode metals and stain other natural
materials. Similarly plated and coloured items can stain skin if you`re wearing suntan lotion at the same time - so keep an eye on what you`re wearing!

The great news too is that there are some great online stores for buying fashion jewellery online, and it`s worth doing a search for the best offers and to find unusual lines.

Power of The Feminine Body and It's Spell on Men's Attraction

It is a never ending though or question on women's mind: "How to turn out to be more attractive for a man?" Anyone would prefer a woman that knows how to let "his" imagination run wild about the mystique of her body that he cannot see because clothing obscures such intent.

So, how does that work? Well, you – as a woman – must dress as relaxed as you like, but at the same time you have to keep as much as your body hidden from the male’s eyes. In this manner, he would begin to “look for” you, to desire you more and more each time he lays his eyes on you. His imagination will be over the fence, for that naked shoulder that you show evidence of, for that knee-high black dress that you simply possess.

Nevertheless, you are the hunter and he is the prey because you decide when this game goes to the next level. You decide how much to show him. This is your ambiguity at work. The feminine unknown has been the subject matter of many epic poems (Homer tells us in his Iliad that an entire war was fought for a woman, Helen); it has been the topic of some of the greatest sculptures (I can tell you here of the statue of the goddess Nike); it is the subject of the most famous picture in the world (yes, I am talking about Leonardo Da Vinci’s Gioconda). Can someone tell me why these women (Helen, Nike and Gioconda) are so famous?

The answer is simple. Let me say a few words about Mona Lisa. She is not such a beautiful woman, at least by today’s standards. However, she has always been a standard of beauty. This does not happen because she has blond hair, or artificially enhanced breasts, or anything else that is unnatural.

She is simply being her. She just stays there and smiles at you, as if winking. No one knows why she is smiling, no one knows even if she is actually winking. She is playing with Da Vinci. She is inviting him over, she tells him to come closer, she lures him with her bear shoulders; but at the same time she tells him to keep the proper distance. She is the essence, the symbol of feminine mystery.

Now, the obvious question is, “how can you, the modern woman, be just like her?” As I have tried to understate earlier, the physical appearance counts less than other things when it comes to mystery, (you should look at the goddess Nike – she does not even have arms, not to mention the head). For us, modern women, the main thing that counts is the clothes. They are our main “unknown” factor.

The garment and the manner in which we interpret to wear it are the aspects that create mystery and desire. Everything else is secondary. Nowadays, more than ever, we are trying to find that path to our own femininity. Our main goal, however, is not to impress men, but to feel just the way we are supposed to feel. If shortly after the “The feminine mystique” appeared published, women all around the world began to wear pants and ties, now women are trying to re-define themselves by wearing what they should wear: dresses and purses.

A dress is not only a clothing item. A dress is a timesaver that helps a woman to spare time when it is difficult to choose from an entire wardrobe. A dress is the closest friend when you have some minor flaws to camouflage. A dress is the most feminine item from a wardrobe, but it is also fun, too. It gives you the sensation of being young again. Even if pants used to be the symbol of power in the past (maybe that is why women started wearing them), now dresses are the ones that come up front.

A little black dress is perfect when you want to play the unsolved type. Nevertheless, if you wear a dress, apart from the fact that you light a fire in the men’s imagination, you get to dominate entirely your partner. Just think about it – being only mysterious brings him to his knees; what if you added that sense of self-confidence, which he will feel as power? The world, and not only his world, will be yours for the taking.

Best Regards,
Natasha Leratti

The Influence of Japanese Fashion

The Japanese Fashion is diverse, as well as the Japanese literature. Practically all the well-known Japanese fashion designers in the creative idea of blending east and western motives, facing an idea of retelling the story of European fashion with Japanese character.

It seems that in 1970 Kenzo was the first Japanese designer to establish himself in Paris. Soon after he was followed by several of his compatriots who saw Europe is an ideal market for Japanese Designers.

When it comes to color attitude and silhouette it is always laconic and fluent. Rei Kawakubo, the founder of Comme des Garsons label.

How Fashion Can Boost Your Success

                                                                   Part I

Fashion is an illusion. It is surreal and enigmatic. Your look is an illusion. Such illusion has the power to make people marvel and want you. It is an illusion that carries an enormously magnetic power. However, unless you know how to use this unique weapon called FASHION, you will find a great deal of difficulty to succeed in today's so modern, demanding and fast changing world.

In these days, your look is your winning trophy. It is the most powerful marketing tool, which can open doors for you in the business world, as well as in your personal life. All you need is to understand a psychology of successful dressing, its ingredients. Once you have grasped the full meaning of a saying as famous as “clothes are never a frivolity, but always mean something”, you will be able to dress accordingly and, at the same time, express your fundamental nature in an elegant and agreeable manner, which is always the way to winning the others’ admiration. You will actually learn to acquire style and to hold it so close and so naturally looking on you that fashion will suit you like a glove.

The trick to looking fashionable is not simply wearing the best outfit from a designer’s collection – even though it is a start. Real style is how you wear those pieces to make you look your own. These days, luxury is all about individuality. What are the bones of a winning look and how can you put them together for your own success? If we take a close look and review the changes fashion had to go through, at least over the last 10 years, you will be pleasantly surprised. You do not need to spend an obscene amount of money each season and year to renew you wardrobe and look your most fashionably fabulous. Yes, there are always new trends coming in style, but there are always "the keepers" of your wardrobe, essential staples that go with almost anything and never go out of style.

All that you need to know is how to add layers and accessories to it. I guarantee that after you master that technique, you would easily take your "keepers" from day to night, from season to season, and enjoy wearing and look your greatest years from now.

So, how is it possible to know which are the pieces that form "the essentials" of each woman or man’s wardrobe? How to look modern, In Style and influential at your business life. We see pictures of all these celebrities and business moguls’ appearance, and we tend to think, “Well, it is good to be rich and afford to buy designer's clothes.” Nevertheless, what happened with becoming a winner without investing your lifesavings into such wardrobe? Believe me it is more than possible. If you got really interested in this topic then come back soon for part II where I will be talking about “what are the bones of a professional wardrobe for women and a wardrobe for men. Which pieces will bring you power that will give you the major advantage in the competition for success”.

My Best Wishes to You,

Your Fashion Designer,

Natasha Leratti

Celebrities, Designer Dresses and Latest On Style Look

Oscar, Golden Globes and It’s Influence on Our Style Look.

With the 2009 award shows such as the Oscars approaching and the Golden Globes just passing by, we wonder how the likes of Angelina Jolie, Cate Blanchett and many others stars who we like, manage to look stunning every time.
The 66th annual Golden Globes this year was absolutely Glam, Chic, and definitely The most Classy one. Women of any age were after simplicity, elegance and class. Take a look at best supporting actress winner for “The Reader” Kate Winslet, in Yves Saint Laurent and Chopard, Penelope Cruz in Giorgio Armani Prive and Chopard, Anne Hathaway in Giorgio Armani Prive and Van Cleef & Arpels. The list would never end…
Every show commands a different style look, and every look is on full display for the critics to dissect. It’s enough to make the average person crawl in a hole if put in the same position, while the star needs superhero powers to make it through – or at least a team of the best in the business.
You might think that if you had a crew to look after yourself, you’d look like a million dollar as well. Imagine if you needed to present an award at the Oscars, how would you want to look? Knowing that your stylist would have your best interest at hand, she would need to head to your favorite designer’s studio to pick the most dazzling looks. While the jobs of Rachel Zoe and other stylists to the stars are surely stressful this time of year, it must be a dream come true to be the first to view some of these collections. Being a fashion insider like Zoe would be as inspiring as it is amazing.
It would be hard to choose the one outfit, but I know that sometimes three or more are set aside for the star to decide on, sometimes waiting up to the day of the event. Of course, fit is taken into consideration, and each piece will be ready, regardless if it is worn. There is sanctity in knowing that no one else will show up with the same dress. The jewels, the shoes, the handbag are all precisely chosen, ready to go.

On the day of the event, the assembled team will be ready to powder the star into precise form. She has most likely been buffed, waxed, and shined to perfection; her limbs bronzed the right shade to show off the lines of her sculpted body. All of this would be nothing without the perfect designer gown. The hair and makeup are faultless, and someone from the team will keep watch as she makes her way down the red carpet.
Who can forget the incredible vintage Valentino that Julia Roberts wore in 2001 to accept her Oscar? It was Valentino again on Cate Blanchett in pale yellow and burgundy when she accepted her Oscar in 2005. Or anytime Renee Zelleweger showed up in Carolina Herrera – it was perfection each time. These women know the power they hold over fashion during the awards season, and the designers cater to them, know that millions of women become spellbound. It doesn’t matter if the piece comes from the latest collection or is vintage, the fashion has the authority to influence and create sales for designers everywhere. Each award show televised creates a fashion buzz for women everywhere.

This year, some of the style predictions are for lots of color in the dresses. The styles themselves will be simple, but played up by dazzling diamonds and statement jewels. The jewelry will not be of the costume variety, but of fine, unusual stones and unique mountings. The shoes will be the showstoppers, combining elite materials with towering heels – we will see feathers, ruffles, fringes, and sparkling embellishments.

Fashion designers everywhere use the influence of celebrities and their style to create sometimes one-of-a kind pieces. A Miami based designer label Natasha Leratti, is known for their unique and elegant sense for evening wear. Regardless if you are a movie star or a women who wants to be In Style and luxe, your best choice – is to visit Leratti’s Design Studio. Anything from a cocktail dress to an evening gown can be done exclusively for your and reflect your personality. With our professional experience and fashion know-how, we will take you from the simple to the extraordinary to ensure that your night is as perfect as one of the movie stars.

Lingerie For 2009 - The Essential Guide

Lingerie, Right Styles and Make Your Body Shape Look Exquisite in any Clothes

Sometimes we overlook one of the most important parts of dressing everyday – the items that go underneath our clothes. The right lingerie is vital to a woman’s look, and can ruin the line of the perfect outfit you spent so much effort and expense putting together. We put a lot of thought and care into our wardrobe and it needs to be extended to our undergarments as well. For a woman to truly look and feel her best, then her lingerie should exude the same.

Bra: It is All about the Shape. The right size will dramatically affect how clothing fits you, as well as how you fit your clothing. Too many times we see lumps and bumps protruding where they shouldn’t under our clothes, and it’s important to seek out someone to assist with the best fit. Be certain that the straps of the bra are not cutting into your shoulders or causing the dreaded “back fat” to be seen. The cups should fit smoothly across the breasts, without any gapping or hangover. Breasts should fill the cups without spilling over or pushing out in the arm area. This is very important if you wear knit clothes. The strap in the back should not ride up. Being fitted is important to know your general size, but it can vary between brands, which makes trying on essential. Don’t just assume your size when using different labels.

Just like you own several shirts for various occasions, you will need bras to suit your wardrobe needs. A molded t-shirt bra disappears under fitted shirts and hides the dreaded nipple effect. Racer back bras and strapless convertible bras disappear under their respective tops – unlike the movie “Sex And The City“, it is not professional or classy to see those straps hanging out.

Visible panty lines are a disease for many, and with today’s fabric technology do not have to show. Owning underwear that fits is just as important as the bra. Boyshorts, low-cut briefs, and thongs disappear under the slightest of fabrics and give you that smooth line in back. Be sure that no one can see the back of your thong when you bend over – it kills the illusion you’ve worked so hard to achieve. Hanky Panky makes incredibly comfortable thongs.

Shapewear is as important to your lingerie collection as anything. Spanx is the leader in hiding tummies, thighs, and rears as it offers a comprehensive line of products. It will transform your look in an instant and make those hard-to-wear items fit perfectly. No one has to know how you did it!

Nude colors and black are the essentials, but after that you can have fun. When you don’t have to be so worried about the line of your outfit, indulge yourself with the lace and luxury of some of the finer lingerie lines such as La Perla, Cosabella and Luxxa. Their foundation garments are seductive and luxurious with stunning laces and embroideries.

Bedtime attire is another important aspect to your lingerie wardrobe, regardless of who sees it. While comfort has its place and should be included, nothing can compare to the feel of a silky chemise or the sexiness of a babydoll. You should consider the items that make you feel incredible and are flattering to your style. You are only limited by your own inhibitions, so throw caution to the wind!

Like anything worth having, lingerie quality is important to consider, particularly the items that are worn often. I would recommend spending more on bras since the fit is so important. These are items that need to be hand washed and laid flat to dry in order to increase their lifespan and hold their shape. Using a mild soap such as Woolite will assist. Any items that have spandex should never be dried in a dryer – the heat will break them down faster.

Your lingerie wardrobe should speak of practicality as well as being seductive in nature. What’s underneath your clothes may speak a side of your personality that is saved for only those special enough to see it. Regardless, lingerie should make you feel just as extraordinary as it does comfortable, and your trousseau needs to reflect it.

I believe that fine lingerie is essential to the well being of all modern women, and the fabulous lives they lead. We are a Miami based High End Fashion Designer Label whose collection reflects a modern yet seductive and elegant for the woman who wants “it all“.

Latest on Shoes Extravaganza, Men and Your Style Look.

Fashion Report

Do you ever think about the importance of having the right shoes in your wardrobe?
Most of us are so concentrated on finding the right dress, pants, silhouette and leave the shoes as the last on the list. You can trust me on that, as a Fashion Designer, who designs and produce Clothing and Accessory Collections for women, I have women coming to my boutique every day looking for something new and fresh from my latest collections and the only two things they are mostly concerned for their style look are… Guess?
-Dress or a Piece of Clothes
                                     -Shoes
-Hair style ( to go with certain outfit)
                                     -Accessories
                                     -Handbag
Can you put this list in order of importance when you shop or simply putting together a style look for the day or evening? Well from my everyday observation and experience for about 90% of women the most important on that list are:
                                   1. Clothes
                                          &
                                   2. Handbag
What happens with the rest of the list? And where is the SHOES on this list. From the response that I hear: “Oh, Well, I just pick something from my closet…”
As I mentioned before in case you still don’t know me, I’m High End Fashion Designer. I design 5 collections a year on top of which I create a Complete Style Look for women and for my private clients for absolutely any occasion in their life beginning with everyday wardrobe to all year around to events like Black Tie Parties and Red Carpet Awards. Just so you know I do not produce shoes.
And Ladies, I can’t stress it more the importance of having the right shoes in your closet.
Do you ever think that shoes basically Defines you ( not by their price, but by their shape and heels). There is a certain psychology among men about their perception of women who wear heels versus no heels. The higher the Heel the more supposedly woman might express confidence, elegance and class. It makes us sexually attractive and noticed. Versus wearing flats which is more Relaxed and down to earth. But still be noticed? Definitely “Yes“.
The Shoes you are wearing give a total makeover to your body shape. They make you taller and leaner or shorter, and well, less lean. Heels habitués are accustomed to being pitched forward, arching their lower backs and thrusting out their busts and backsides.
Regardless of all these controversies the Shoes, heels and flats, are very important to your wardrobe.

TRENDS for Spring - Summer 2009:

From Modern Art and Architectural Angels To Delicate Shoes.

1. High dramatically embellished heels
      - pair them up with simple classic silhouettes and go minimalist
      - remember, when it comes to statement heels, accessorizing less is more

2. Stiletto Wedges are your perfect choice for chic and comfort.

3. Colors:
                 Bright: yellow, purple, black
                 Pastels
                 The Python and Snake look

With that in mind I wish you all the joy and fun “shoeing” around and getting ready
  For new fashion season.

My best Regards To You,

                                  Celebrities, Designer Dresses
and Latest Fashion Trends of 2009

                                        Designer Runway Forecast for 2009

Chic Tough Girl Looks, Military Influences, and Seductive Jumpsuits rule the Runway
The New Year is barely in the door and we are already looking to our favorite celebrities to show us how to make this our best year in Fashion yet.
Anne Hathaway is a celebrity style icon in the making already, with her raven hair and creamy skin. With her fashion break out role in The Devil Wear Prada, the public took notice of her expressive appearance. While recently in the pages of Vogue and InStyle magazines, she resonates in Versace, Thakoon, and Marchesa. Her casual side is appealing to many as well, having been photographed in a military influenced jacket. This Sergeant Pepper inspired look will be hot in 2009, and will be seen in electric blue, orange, and red, in addition to the more traditional look of black or olive. Pair with form fitting pants, boots, and a simple t-shirt. The fashion accessories can be pared down as shiny metallic buttons will festoon across the jackets. Piles of metal chains will be your ideal accessory choice for a plain shirt.
Love her or hate her, Victoria Beckham will continue to rule the fashion world, with the fashionistas waiting hungrily for her next hair style or statement. A fashion brand herself, she will continue to reinvent her own look of elegant flamboyance style. Look to Victoria to be the enduring face of high glamour, as anything worth leaving the house for should be dressed for. Body skimming, elegant dresses with an element of exaggeration are her forte, like the black Dolce dress she wore recently in Dubai. Look for Victoria to also influence the menswear look with her seductive take on wearing high waisted, fluid moving pants that are hot off designer runway. The new soft silhouette of pants will be worn in various lengths this year from chic cropped styles to the floor skimming variety, and topped with smart jackets, feminine blouses, and knits.
While it was recently reported that she hates the words “boho chic”, Kate Hudson is certainly an influence for it. Her laid back California way of dressing makes her look a favorite to women of all ages. She embodies comfort, with a fashion style. Kate’s take on combining patterns, color, and a an easy aesthetic will rule many closets this year – think dresses by Marc by Marc Jacobs, Prada, and M Missoni. Missoni knits feature an incredible weave of colors that give only a nod to the boho look and make knits the comfortable choice. Natasha Leratti offers an affordable knit look at her latest fashion designer collection website, in a citrus kissed yellow mini dress, accented by the ever popular black and white.
As a new celebrity who dresses the celebrities, Rachel Zoe’s own style has taken storm due to her reality show. One can’t miss the larger than life luxurious fur vests she favors, paired with skirts or skinny jeans. While she favors vintage, her look has an exotic flair that evokes a Russia meets West Coat influence. Strong prints in rich colors, chunky knits, and bold jewelry are the staple of her look. We will look to her to show us how to mix unusual textures and prints. Rachel is a perfect example of being able to dress high-low by taking a vintage $2000 Chanel gown and mixing it with a $98 faux fur vest from The Limited. Not only is her look fun and fresh, it inspires our inner designer to take risks in mixing styles.
Tough Girl or Biker Chic will edge its way back in, due to the strong women it evokes. The rock style looks of Rihanna and Pink brings their influence to a look that can be dressed up or down. Rihanna will be a style setter for this year with her stunning good looks and cutting edge fashion style. Her sweet smile accentuates her glam rocker appeal. Little black dresses are topped off with edgy fitted jackets that offer zippers, rips, and a sharper structure. While leather seems like an obvious choice, look for unusual takes on the jacket that include fitted knit sweaters over skinny black pants and boots. Leather pants and thigh high boots are creating a tough but glam look. Studded accents on designer handbags or boots are offset with shiny sequins to bring in a feminine touch. A Balenciaga Biker Bag may set you back thousands of dollars for this look, but consider checking out leratti.com to find her take on new and vintage designer handbags to suit this look.
While it may take awhile for this trend to gain steam, many celebrities have been photographed wearing the new jumpsuit. Kate Hudson, Scarlett Johannsen, and Rosario Dawsen have been seen adding their touch to this retro look. Chunky belts, long chains, and miles of bangles add spunk and glamour to an otherwise simple style. Look for silky, flowy materials that accentuate movement, and show subtle glimpses of skin. Styles will be long or cropped, and will be set off with sexy high heels or boots. The jumpsuit can be dressed down for day, or up for cocktail hour, and may prove to have a versatile ability for the modern women. Look for spring neutrals to bring a safari –tinged feel to the style.
Whoever is your style icon may be, develop your own sense of style by visiting leratti.com. Natasha Leratti is a Miami based fashion high end fashion designer with a cutting edge vibe and distinct sense of style.

               Shine, Sparkle and Glitter-

Spring’s Must Have Fashion Accessories 2009

Accessories are rulling the Runway for 2009. Brilliant colors, exuberant prints, and statements of jewels lead off what hopes to be your best year yet. A sophisticated and pulled together look will exude a strong confidence in any woman. While the dress may be simple, your personality will shine through with the most current accessories.
Snakeskin, ostrich, crocodile, and plenty of cheetah will be found everywhere. Shoes, handbags, bangles, scarves and belts will carry the motif in plenty, and I’ve found you can never have enough. The fearless will wear their skin in one of the bright candy colors of fushia or canary yellow.

Jewelry. Make a big statement with jewelry. Make it big, and don’t be afraid to match the earrings, necklace and bracelet. We’ll be seeing lots of colorful, painted costume jewelry make a comeback. Natasha Leratti shows a crocodile cuff bracelet that creates a bold look at her website, Fashion Designer Accessories

The Clutch. Clutches will be your go-to handbag, and are small enough build a collection to go with you entire wardrobe. Michael Kors’ snakeskin clutch, $1395.00, adds an exotic touch that works for day or night.

Belt. The 2009 silhouettes accentuate the waist, and belts are an instant update. Wrap around jackets, sweaters, and fitted dresses to create an hourglass effect. Belts range from metal, fabric, leather, woven fibers, faux stones and jewels.

Color, color, color. Nothing updates your wardrobe instantly more than the use of a strong color. Purple, fushia, canary yellow, orange, and turquoise will be strong this spring. A khaki shift will elevated to a new level when you add your touch with bangles, belts, handbags or heels – be sure to keep to one color and don’t overdo it. Tory Burch’s line is masterful in showing the new colors against neutral.

Feminine ruffles will continue to be a part of everyday dressing. As an accoutrement on heels, Christian Louboutin’s Petal Heels show a demure yet incredibly sexy side to a woman’s style. Ruffles will be part of necklaces and neckware, and seen in day as well as night.

The shoes for spring take bold steps. Architectural heels, broad straps, graphic shapes, platform soles, and the continued popularity of the gladiator sandal create bold statements for any outfit. A strong shoe adds depth to the feminine, fluid shapes that come with the spring lines.

Embellishment. Accessories, handbags, and shoes will offer up plenty more when shown with fringe, bows, flowers, crystals, and ruching. Paying attention to the small details when dressing will add miles to your overall look. Sequins, beads, and lame’ made everything a show stopper – Ralph Lauren showed plenty of shimmer and richness throughout his runway looks.

Scarves and shawls will continue to be a welcome addition to dressing. From feminine florals to strong, abstract graphics, women will find themselves reaching for a scarf to be the ultimate topping.

Show your environmentally conscious side. As more and more consumers look to conserve, save, and reuse, one of the hot designer accessories will become the reusable tote. By appealing to our sustainable side, designers are adding these to the mix. While Chanel’s $1,525.00 leather version seems a tad excessive, look for those with pretty prints, logos and shapes to make grocery shopping more chic.

Today’s woman still wants to shop and update her wardrobe, even in this financially challenging time. She will be looking for higher quality items that will be versatile and long lasting. One of the most highly anticipated fashion influences will come from Michelle Obama, with her focus on unusual details to liven up classic dressing. Designers will be challenged to create a more versatile item that can work for day, office, and even evening.
When perusing the designer sites, look to show you chic, well made items to add to your current wardrobe. Miami based designer Natasha Leratti knows what makes a strong women look exceptional, and pays attention to those details.

Million Dollar Style Look Without Breaking Your Lifetime Saving

How to create a Luxe look, dress in Latest Designer’s Original Clothes with a small budget.

Have you ever been sitting at your favorite café to notice that woman who looks like she has it all? She stands tall, exudes confidence, and appears to have spent her year’s salary on her wardrobe. Perhaps she is fooling you, and simply knows how to make herself look that way. Either way, you may be left wondering why it isn’t you.
Every year, women waste thousands of dollars buying things they don’t need, don’t fit, or positively do not suit them. We become slaves to fashion magazines or celebrities telling us how we should look and giving us the false confidence we should do it. How many times have you bought a color of lipstick because it looked good on the model in the magazine? It’s time to stop frittering away money that could be earning interest in your savings account, and purchase wisely.
While it may seem like you have to spend thousands of dollars each year to look chic, it is not a requirement. Start by studying the designer looks for your style influence, and then go shopping. Nancy Gonzalez’s colorful croc shoulder bags retail for $3,600 and represent decadence in choice. By the same token, there some High End Designer Labels who offers custom made pieces for a fraction of that prices. It just a few of them in the world but they do exist. Miami based Natasha Leratti Designer Label is one of them. Coming on the market with top of the line designs and quality they are really taking new approach. Make it available and affordable to middle income women.
Luxury clothing with chic styles can be found at better priced sources that offer premier quality and design. J. Crew is on the cutting edge of designer looks with its cocktail dress line, as well as trendy shirts, pants, and skirts. I would compare them with DVF, Dior, or even Alexander MacQueen for some of their influences, at a bare fraction of the price. Look for the less pricey brands to offer quality tailoring in their lining and seams – it will set them apart from inferior product. Natasha Leratti offers a unique ruffled cocktail dress for under $600 that will stand up in a room full of $5000 gowns. Again, it is paying attention to the details that makes this dress a stunning comparison.
Vince and Theory are two designer lines that offer knitted sweaters in a mid-range designer price. Their look is a hip, clean-lined minimalist approach that appeals to a broad spectrum of women, particularly those working professionally. The soft knitted sweaters provide an elegant daytime look with quality construction, typically around $400. When purchasing knitted items, be sure to look for pieces that will not pill excessively or stretch with use. Quality yarns give a soft luxurious feel, not scratchy. Leratti also offers a fresh look in her signature knitted pieces, offering dresses, skirts, sweaters, and even handbags, at a much better price.

Fashion Accessories and jewelry is another way to create that million dollar look without having to buy the real thing. Jewelry today has a much richer, luxurious look due to advances in metal and synthetic stone technology. The finishes retain their shiny hue, and the stones create a shimmer effect. Unusual shapes layered over a fabulous outfit make a more sound statement. Look for baubles to offer intricate shapes – twisted chains combined with hammered shapes for a high-low sheen; crystals, feathers, woven leather, and shells create high end accents. Using unusual materials brings unique approach to your style, and will set off even the most simple outfits.

Once you’ve laid the groundwork, toss the items that aren’t working. If you haven’t worn it in a year, or if it is in need of impossible repairs, toss it! Donate the things that could work for someone else, and judiciously get rid of the rest. Old shoes, handbags, make up, accessories – you may be surprised by the results.

With our tight economic times, it doesn’t seem smart to overspend on material items. Setting a budget and procuring the necessary items doesn’t have to be expensive, and sometimes it is well worth having a professional assist. Miami based Fashion Designer Label, Natasha Leratti, offers an image consultation service through their Free Couture Club Membership. Through the knowledge and understanding of how fabric should move and mold the woman’s body, The Designer herself can guide you to the right pieces and silhouettes to build your wardrobe. Her high end couture pieces can be custom made for your lifestyle in the right color and style. “We cannot put an exact dollar figure on what it is worth to have a one of a kind high end fashion wardrobe, we can tell you this: this unique shopping experience very possibly can be the best bargain and the best investment you will ever make,” says Leratti.

Leratti knows that quality fashion doesn’t come inexpensive, but it can be accomplished with a small budget. By knowing the right pieces that complete your wardrobe, you can spend $500 and less, instead of $5,000, for an original Designer Clothes. By signing up for Leratti’s Couture Club, you could be eligible for a complimentary consultation with Designer herself, receive free style consultations each year, special promotional discounts ( only available to Club members), VIP Invitations to Major Fashion Events and much more.

Grow confidence in knowing that you are radiating to others, and you’ll soon become that woman you were watching from the café.

   Your Fashion Designer and Stylist,

Little Black Dress of Yesterday Makes a Classic Chic Choice of Tomorrow

Little Black Dress is One of life’s greatest quests. Every woman looks and feels spectacular in it, using it as the go-to item in her closet for when she has “nothing to wear”. The little black dress has been a fashion institution since the 1920’s, when Coco Chanel created and introduced the first one. Chanel wanted to instill comfort with sophistication, which at the time was considered very cutting edge. Women were baring more skin on their arms and legs, enjoying a more lavish social life.
One of Chanel’s memorable quotes is that “luxury must be comfortable; otherwise it is not a luxury.” Her influence is felt still today, and the little black dress has seen many incarnations. During the Great Depression, the dress continued to be popular though the hemlines lengthen and the style was more restrained. The 50’s brought the pin-up girl influence to the make the dress more seductive statement, often in a halter style. While Mod in the 60’s shortened the length and added cutouts, it is the elegant black sheath dress designed by Givenchy for Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s that epitomized the style.
Before black became a staple in most women’s wardrobes, it was considered a color of mourning. Now, it is a standard in fashion all over the world. It is easily worn with other colors, and provides a backdrop for stunning jewelry. It slims a woman’s silhouette, and gives the appearance of being taller. It can be worn day or evening. For all of these reason’s the little black dress remains as popular today as it ever has. The sleeveless black shift is the gold standard from which all are designed.

Dress styles have changed over the years to reflect the current trends – lengths go up and down, cleavage or no cleavage, lots of embellishment to elegant simplicity. The importance of the style is to have an effortless style that embodies who you are. Today’s little black dress takes the simple lines and puts a wickedly modern twist on them.
In one of the most memorable dresses, Gwyneth Paltrow showed up in last year in London in a barely there black lace dress from Balmain, instantly influencing women all over to show more leg. Balenciaga’s sculpted tailoring creates a futuristic feel, and Prada adds ruffled insets. Sequins and beading, metallic trims, sexy fringes, jagged hemlines, seductive single shoulder styles and pleats gave dimension to the dress, as sales climbed this past year. Continuing into 2009 women will be adding more to their little black dress collection.
Your closet should include at least two styles of Little Black Dress – daytime as well as evening. Soft jersey knits provide an easy backdrop to run errands in during the week, keeping creases to a minimum and always giving you an up to date look. Tank style dresses can be layered over pops of color, t-shirt styles are updated with metallic belts, and classic shirtdresses are cinched with ribbons and bows. Angelina Jolie has always embodied easy daytime style with her simple, chic black dresses, even when pregnant. The daytime black dress is easily accessorized with colorful jewelry and scarves, along with fun strappy sandals.
The Little Black Dress offers perfect styles to let you show off your most dramatic shoes. Shoes have become a commanding influence, and there have been many pairs purchased without regard to an outfit because they are so fabulous. This is where a simple black statement on top will show off the most decadent of footwear.
While many top designers’ black dresses can run into the thousands of dollars, it is not necessary to spend so much for a stunning appearance. Couture style dresses is easier to find, and one of the top designers creating timeless designs is Natasha Leratti, a Miami-based fashion designer. One of her most spectacular strapless little black dresses features cascading ruffles and an uneven hemline. The bodice offers a hint of cleavage shown off by a crystal buckle. It retails for $599.00, which differs greatly from the $5,000 shown by other couture designers. She also offers a comfortable looking black knit dress for under $100 that can easily be dressed up and down. What sets Leratti apart is her willingness to customize styles and colors for her clients, at a fraction of the price. Her latest Collections can be found at http://www.leratti.com.
“Most customers don’t receive anywhere near the quality and design in clothing for their hard earned cash as they should,” notes Leratti. As a purveyor of the finest quality materials, she creates luxurious women’s clothing that you’ll want to fill your closet with. “Leratti’s designer clothes allow you to feel beautifully confident,” client Easter Huggins commends. Next time you are considering a Little Black Dress, or adding pieces to your wardrobe consult Leratti’s website or contact her directly for a personal touch.

Today’s Designer Classics is Modern Vintage of Tomorrow

Finding the timeless pieces of today that will endure
When I look at the fashion styles in today’s Vogue, W Magazine, or Bazaar, it is hard to see what might turn into a classic dress. Some of designer clothes are too arty to be considered, and are only photographed for the now – most of which I would deem unwearable anyway. I have a few things hanging in my closet right now that seemed like a practical choice last season, only to see that it will be a one hit wonder.
When you are twenty, no trend seems too far out, and the classics appear downright prudish. Then, reality hits somewhere closer to thirty, and when we are responsible for everything. The fashion faux-pas start to look a little more ridiculous, and get a bit expensive. As we age, certain things don’t look as good, or right anymore. I think that is just fine, because the wisdom gained is invaluable, and we know that those trendy pieces tell a story later in life.
What’s important to know is how to add value to your fashion wardrobe without wasting clothes. Look to a little bit of fashion history to know what pieces remain timeless, and are worth owning twenty years from now – the little black dress, the luxury handbag, or an exquisite blouse. It starts to take hold somewhere around age 27, when you realize the value of certain items. You want to become that individual, and get away from the cookie cutter mall rats.
I would recommend finding that designer boutique that gets to know you. The individual attention you receive is invaluable, and you know you’ll be procuring better items for the long run. My favorite style associate will call me when she sees items that suit my style, and she’s honest in telling me how I look. Boutiques will hold trunk shows for their favorite designers, where you can be the first to order the upcoming season’s looks, and know that you are purchasing quality that endures. Designers produce limited quantities of their items which brings exclusivity and value. This is what makes your wardrobe more distinct and individual to your style.
Vintage Clothes of Tomorrow… What makes a timeless piece? “Designs that have strong individuality, signature style, and a sense of mystery” says Natasha Leratti, a High End Miami based Fashion Designer and Stylist. While it is hard to say exactly which modern pieces of today will make statement point of tomorrow’s vintage, there are some pieces that make obviously choices. The “Little Black Dress” that combines classic lines with a little flair will be one that can be updated with the modern shoes and accessories, regardless of the decade. A simple cut jacket can be instantly updated with a modern shirt or jewelry underneath. Designer Clothes that are classic, with unexpected elements will be tomorrow’s vintage – a romantic silk blouse, an embellished shift dress, or a crocodile handbag will be choices I would look for.
When you shop for vintage today, you should be prepared to pay more for better designer clothes and fashion accessories, just as you would new. If an item is well made and cared for, then it will last for years. The details of the designer items have been paid attention to, and are worth the extra. The early creations of Christian Dior exuded a charm and grace that is quite timeless in design, yet is easily modernized with a blend of today’s chunky jewels, architectural heels, and colorful handbags. Head to toe vintage can look too much like a costume, so the unity is key.
Designer Auctions are great opportunity to find new as well as vintage items. You never know when someone does not realize the significance of a piece and you can pick it up for under face value. It’s important to do your homework when buying vintage to know if something is worth the price.
Natasha Leratti’s design philosophy revolves around the idea of buying for tomorrow. Her online store offers daytime and cocktail dresses, as well as evening skirts, knits, and fashion accessories that exude a couture flair for today, and quality to be the vintage of tomorrow. Her keen design sense makes her a frontrunner for the modern woman’s fashion wardrobe. She can create one of a kind couture items for you that will last a lifetime, and become classics you pass down.

                                                         Lingerie - The Essential Guide

Finding the Right Styles and Make Your Body Look Exquisite in any Clothes

How To Save Money in the Bank by Investing In Designer Clothes

Buying Designer Clothes has to be an Investment.

The importance of buying well made clothes is that it saves you money in the long run.

It never fails; somehow my mother is always right as much as I hate to admit it. “You get what you pay for” has been a mantra for her ever since I can remember, and it is true. She is a believer that you buy something once and keep it for (almost) eternity, and fashion is one of those things. I’ve got to hand it to her – buying designer clothes from an investment standpoint is a smart decision. I have suits that still look as good today as they did 8 years ago.
For the record, I don’t think that you need to spend tens of thousands of dollars every year on a wardrobe. I think you need to shop wisely. Access what you need into categories – what you need, versus what you want. What is your lifestyle – mom, working woman, lady who lunches, party diva, or some sort of combination of all? Once you know what holes to fill in your closet, make a list and head for your favorite fashion designer boutique.
While some may criticize the spendy prices, there is truly a difference between wearing Elie Tahari, and wearing H&M. Look and feel the quality of the fabric. Synthetics have come a long way, and when used in conjunction with natural fibers they are a godsend. Wool, cotton, silk, and linen make long lasting garments, particularly when a little spandex is added for stretch. Drapability needs to be superior to create a good fit. You can always justify spending more for a well fitting shirt, particularly if know you will wear it often.
Construction of a designer garment will outweigh a mass produced item any day. The better the garment is made, the longer it will last. Inspect the seams, lining, and small details. A well made item will have the pattern matched at the seams to provide continuity. If you look at an iconic Chanel jacket, you will notice the details are impeccable. The lining is constructed from as many panels as the jacket’s fabric itself. A small chain is sewn into the bottom of the hem to ensure the hang is perfect every time. The braid detail that follows the seams stays in place and emphasizes the lines of the piece. A cheaply made jacket will pull at the seams, and the lining will roll in the wrong places, emphasizing all that is inferior.
Aside from the quality of the fabric and construction, you will find a noticeable difference in fit. Designers simply get it and know how a garment should fit. If an article of clothing fits well, you will wear it often, and it will stand the test of time. I will gladly pay $400 for a pair of classy wool trousers that I will wear for ten years, then $40 bucks for something that barely makes it through the season without stretching or pilling – again, if you get what you pay for, then why buy it numerous times?
Well made designer clothes will stay true to the classic style, and will be well worth the extra you spend. You can always buy low for trendy accents and fashion accessories that get pitched after a year. However, in the big picture, you will ultimately save yourself money by considering the important pieces as an investment – suits, shirting, the little black dress, a luxury handbag. If you purchase the right pieces, you can ultimately make them look different season to season by what you pair them with and your individual style.
Our Designer Label, Natasha Leratti, is one that specializes in pulling your entire look together, through the keen eye of our Leading Designer and superior designs. At our online store, leratti.com, you can preview the latest Fashion Designer Collections of Women’s Clothes and Accessories and find quality items to fill the voids from the “Little Black Dress” to incredible knit clothes and dresses. You can sign up with our Couture Club, it is absolutely Free, and have the opportunity to consult with Designer herself. She will listen to your concerns and tailor her looks to your own couture needs.

The New “It” Handbags for 2009

Latest Fashion Accessories Trends for Spring - Summer 2009

As we come through the winter blahs and look forward to spring, one of the first pick-me-ups I look for in my spring wardrobe is a new handbag. The Paris, New York, and Milan Spring Fashion Week included handbags with all the collections, and brought a wearable side to all the elegant clothes. A handbag brings an element of creative expression and pulls together an entire look.
Many materials were present, most notably the exotic skins of ostrich, crocodile, and snake in brilliant colors. Bright colors will be the most popular: pinks, red, oranges, purples and yellows in all sizes, but the big bag still shines as a roomy favorite. Many feature chains and showy hardware. Smaller, more classic handbags were present, and clutches also provided a fresh look for any ensemble Regardless of the size of bag, many were shown clasped in the hand, not slung over the shoulder, for a more elegant look.
While many designers were showing leather, others opted for textiles, such as linen or cotton fabrics to give a softer silhouette. Miu Miu offers a shredded cotton-linen pleated handbag, that is a clever play on casual. While many of these bags were in softer neutrals or black and white, elements of color were applied in other ways using long fringe, beading, and contrasting prints.
Natural fibers continued with the use of hand knitted bags. The various stitches added new dimension with the textural elements, which included appliquéd flowers, sequins and beading, and metallic thread interwoven. These bags added an element of surprise to both daytime and evening looks. Being one of her signature styles, Miami based designer Natasha Leratti offers a plethora of knitted handbags looks to choose from at her Spring - Summer Fashion Accessories 2009 Collection.
Some designers, such as Yves-Saint Laurent embellished his with pearls, crystal, and metallic accessories to add a shimmer and flash. The evening bags were often shown in the same color as the dress, but added an element of brightness and sophistication.
Patent leathers, ruffles, and braiding were all found in lady-like creations. Shapes ranged from sleek and rounded to slouchy. Bags are favoring multiple pockets and holders inside to provide maximum storage for makeup, IPods, and Blackberries. With the strain on the economy, many designers are offering bags that can be used both daytime and evening – many offer removable embellishments that can be changed depending on look.
The handbags of 2009 are meant to bring strength and elegance to the modern woman they are paired with. Luxury handbags continue to be a strong statement, and will accentuate a wardrobe for many years to come when purchased smartly. Expressing your personality with a quality handbag is sure to add confidence to your wardrobe.
Check out the Latest Collection of Natasha Leratti’s Label handbags that express signature style and elegance.

Without doubt, for Fall 2008, femininity rules as the winning among for women. This season women has to go wild with shapes and silhouettes. To make the fall season exuberant; an introduction of color, with soft, sugar coated shades and a burst of vitamin tones. Irresistible desire for prints with masses of bucolic motifs, and remember, the larger the better. The excitement of spring fashion is in the air. This season designers are filled with romantic nostalgia and passion about women's clothing. To get one step ahead of style be prepared: your shopping list will be long but every purchase will be worth it.

The focal point of the new season's fashion is the silhouette, freely molded and shaped with layers of fabric, asymmetrical cuts, pleats, gathers in crossover mood between yesterday and today.

A flurry of colors, embroidery and lace invade the wardrobe of woman. Begin with wearing delightful lingerie petticoats trimmed with leather belts on the hips and tinny dresses with masses of pointy frills. With a touch of romance, knitted mini dresses that flaunt sprays of roses and with gym-chic pullovers and tracksuit pants in deluxe versions. Short lengths prevail with mini hems and lots of shorts styles that vanish for evenings that are enhanced with long caftans covered with sparkly sequins.

Dresses are the stars of Fall of 2008. Look for smooth, slippery fabrics with transparent and translucent textures glide along to highlight the revival of the tracksuit. Prints as always are dictating their rules. Fabrics that are rich filled with vertical and horizontal stripes that play with a desire for graphic lines takes the lead. Geometric macro patterns and huge flowers will be popular this season bringing a couture femininity to woman's evivening look.

This season's highlights:

BIG PRINTS. Look for colors and contrast. Red, Yellow, Green, Black, White, and Pink will do. Prints that are blown out of proportion, yet elegant and chic. Feel free to layer it with a strong cotton jacket or a pair of leggings.

RUFFLES and RUCHES will bring a playful and innocent look to any women. Long or short dresses, with Empire waistline and embellished with pinups, big flowers. Use them for any social occasion you might have: cocktail party, or dream prom party. Frivolous crochet, romantic prints, stylistic plants and charming embroidery is on the list for this summer as well. The SIGNATURE DRESS of this season is the ONESHOULDER dress. The asymmetrical cut accentuates femininity and brings a touch of seduction.

Accessories are stated as 'must haves' to every look. Go crazy with bags: extra large versions to look chic and confident, and extra small for more sophisticated feel. Don't forget about pearls, necklaces, cuffs, scarves and belts.

And of course every women favorite 'The Shoes'. High heels is 'a must have' for this summer. These shoes are doing all the work for you already. They perform their job of lengthening and showing off the legs, then the rest is just the game. Wedges are scooped out and lighter, displaying sculptured empty space. Sandals, also for daytime, sparkling with sequins or contrasting color splits with fluorescents twinkling with reflecting effects. Ankle straps that wrap like spirals will be in high demand. Platform heels lengthened out of proportion and peep toe styles with half moon cut outs. Don't forget about stilettos, curvilinear, shaped and slanted. As for evening look indulge yourself with a pair of gorgeous shoes decorated with jewels and embroidery and covered with pearls and crystals.

...
These are the major items for every woman lately on the shopping list. Convenietly Jeans became the answer to all woman's needs. But we need to admit that it is the easy way out and does not bring out your feminity and sophistication.
This Season Pants are back in a big way. Designers offered plenty of options for woman's fashion. From sleek and superskinny to slouchy and superwide. But no matter which cut you choose, how you wear it is what counts. Here are a few Style Tips from Fashion Designer on how to make your pant ensembles fashionably chic.

1.A slim pant is sleek and modern, but be sure to keep the proportions in place. A pared-down top is perfect with this cut, while something overly voluminous can appear off-kilter, and anything too tight seems trashy.

2.Give your ensemble an Edgy Style Look with a fiited or knitted vest.

3.A shoe in a shocking shade or shape brings intstant life to any pant style. For the most flattering line, wear heels with long trousers and flats with a skinny ankle-lenght cut.

4.Designer Aceessories such as oversized necklaces, cuff bracelets, designer knitted handbags can give a pantsuit just the right amount of Chic and Style.

5.Don't be afraid of going in solid white or black colors. Remember you will always look in Style with the right fashion accessories and shoes.
